Our mission is to foster greater acceptance of cannabis across all communities, regardless of its intended use. We are the Roseli Family—former California Medical Marijuana dispensary owners, cannabis alchemists, enthusiasts, activists, and educators, including Rich “Docta Rich” Roseli, an ex-wireless tower technician and climber, and his wife, Jessica.
Our journey in the hemp industry began in 2017 after a career-ending injury left Docta Rich unable to continue in his climbing profession. Following numerous surgeries, he grappled with significant daily pain and found himself reliant on prescription medications, including opioids, alcohol, and high-THC cannabis for relief. However, everything changed when he discovered the remarkable benefits of CBD-rich cannabis. Initially skeptical of “hemp” due to his reliance on high-THC strains for psychoactive effects, he soon realized that Full Spectrum CBD-rich cannabis was the true key to pain management—this would become the sole medicine used by our family.
Motivated by his transformation, we committed ourselves to change lives and help prevent others from falling into addiction, just as Docta Rich had been saved by Full Spectrum CBD oil. While traditional medical practices continue to prescribe harmful pharmaceuticals, Docta Rich chose to embrace the healing power of Docta Rasta’s hemp-derived cannabis essentials, including oils, topicals, edibles, and flower. We firmly believe that plant-based medicine is the most effective remedy available, and cannabis stands as a favorite not just for Docta Rich but for millions around the globe.

After initially crafting products for friends and family, we realized our ability to help more people in similar situations—those struggling with addiction stemming from their doctors’ prescriptions. This understanding fueled our mission to help as many individuals as possible overcome their dependence on prescription drugs. In early 2019, we opened our retail location in Old Colorado City, later relocating to Manitou Springs in mid-2021, and we haven’t looked back since!
